Tom is the Managing Partner at the firm. Tom graduated No. 1 in his class with a 4.0 GPA in high school as well as being the Valedictorian, Student Body President, and co-captain of the football team and tennis team. Tom attended UCLA on an academic scholarship and majored in Psychology with a Specialization in Business Administration. Tom then attended Whittier College School of Law on an academic scholarship where he was a member of the Dean’s List, Law Review and Moot Court.
Tom started his legal career working for a large firm in Downtown, Los Angeles where he developed his trial and litigation skills and began his practice in Koreatown in 1994. During his 30 years of legal experience, he represented major choebol clients as well as popular and well-known small businesses in Koreatown. He also defended Erica Kim and Kyung Joon Kim from suits related to the Former President of Korea, Myung Bak Lee concerning the BBK scandal. Tom’s client base reaches into foreign countries such as Korea, Hong Kong, China, Japan and France concerning international transactions and complex business litigation. With extensive experience in jury trials, bench trials, mediations, arbitrations, depositions and negotiation tactics, Tom has obtained superb results for his clients with impressive jury verdicts, court judgments and settlements.
In addition to numerous news interviews and television commentaries, Tom had his own radio program in a Korean Radio Station providing education and commentaries on the law. Tom is admitted to the California Supreme Court, 9th Circuit Court of Appeal, and all four United State Districts Courts. Tom is also fluent in the Korean language and is also a Real Estate Broker.
S. Nathan Yun is an experienced litigation attorney with six years of dedicated practice in the field. Nathan has developed a strong reputation for his compassionate approach to legal representation and built a robust practice focused on delivering effective legal solutions in high-pressure environments.
Nathan graduated from University of California, San Diego with a BA in Political Science. After working at a small immigration office, he decided to pursue a career in law and went to Pepperdine School of Law where he received his J.D. Since then, Nathan has worked in various areas of law, including complex immigration matters, commercial litigation, criminal defense, personal injury, and labor related matters.
With his strong writing and oral advocacy skills in representing the clients of the firm, Nathan has been successful in numerous motion practices including anti-SLAPP motions, summary judgment motions, discovery motions and demurrers. With exemplary negotiation skills, Nathan has settled many of the firm’s top settlements. He has also won several jury trials and bench trials to date. Nathan is admitted to the California Supreme Court, the Central District of California and the Southern District of California. Nathan’s interests include song writing, playing the guitar and church ministry. He also enjoys travelling with his family. He is fluent in oral and written Korean.
